“BBQ” is a common outdoor picnic method, which originated from the English word “barbecue”. Barbecue has two main types.

The first type, “barbecue,” uses smoke and is covered. The second type, “grill,” uses fire and is uncovered.

The skewers we often talk about are closer to “grill”. However, these two words have little to do with the ingredients.

In the United States, BBQ has almost become a lifestyle culture. Many families have their own portable barbecue grills. Whenever they encounter holidays or family reunions, they drive to nearby parks and beaches. They can also set up barbecue grills in their own yards or terraces for a relaxing barbecue party.

If you don’t have a barbecue grill at home, it doesn’t matter. In the United States, many parks and green spaces have “BBQ” signs and provide tables, chairs, and public grills. Visitors only need to bring ingredients and charcoal.

Outdoor Camping Tool: Disposable Grill

A disposable grill includes a wire rack, aluminum foil pan, grilling net, quick-burning charcoal, and ignition paper. The outer packaging is plastic-wrapped to keep out moisture. Even if the humidity is high outdoors, there is no need to worry about not being able to light the charcoal fire.

It only takes ten seconds to light the charcoal fire. It has one pound of quick-burning charcoal, providing about an hour and a half of grilling time. You can start grilling when the surface of the charcoal begins to turn white.

The temperature is about 280 °C. With the help of a wire grill, it will not burn when grilling and is easy to use. No need to clean, throw it away after use, light weight, easy to carry. Low price, very cheap and practical.

How to Use a Disposable Grill

  1. Open the package, take out and set up the stand.
  2. Light the charcoal bag and wait for the paper to burn. Then, tear open the combustion aid opening and squeeze it evenly over the charcoal balls through the mesh.
  3. Light the combustion aid and let it burn fully.
  4. After the charcoal balls burn for 15 minutes, the surface turns white and there is no open flame, and you can grill. The charcoal fire is the strongest after about 30 minutes, and the barbecue time can last about 3 hours.
  5. After the barbecue is over, you must extinguish it with water before leaving.
  6. Put the waste and recyclable components into the classified trash bins separately.

Disposable Aluminum Pans On Grill

You can use disposable aluminum pans on the grill. Place the ingredients in aluminum pan and place the pan directly on the grill.

I recommend that you choose a thick, medium-sized disposable foil pan, generally 0.02-0.04 mm thick. It can withstand high temperatures without losing its shape.

When using, you can make a few small holes in the bottom of the pan to facilitate heat transfer. If the edges of the pan are too high, you can trim them appropriately. Some people put a layer of paper on the bottom of the pan to prevent food from sticking. Leave enough space around the pan when placing it on the grill to allow the heat to circulate.

Where to Buy Disposable Grill

Many supermarkets stock disposable grills, especially in the summer.

For professional grilling tools, visit stores that specialize in outdoor, camping, or grilling equipment.

For a small number of disposable grills, choose online retailers. Websites such as Amazon, Walmart, or specialty outdoor retailers.

If you are grilling outdoors, stores around the site are also a good choice for buying disposable grills.

Steps:

  1. Prepare the grill: First, choose a large, sturdy foil pan to serve as the base for your disposable grill.
  2. Add charcoal: Fill the bottom of the foil pan with charcoal briquettes. The amount of charcoal you need depends on the size of the pan and the amount of food you are cooking.
  3. Light the charcoal: Use a lighter or match to light the charcoal briquettes. Wait for the charcoal to turn to ash, which should take about 10–15 minutes.
  4. Start grilling: Once the charcoal is ready, you can place the grill over the pan if you have one. If not, you can cook the food directly over the charcoal, using a cooking utensil such as tongs to handle the food.
  5. Grill and enjoy: Now you can place the food on the grill (or directly over the charcoal if you don’t have one) and start grilling.
  6. Extinguish the charcoal: Carefully pour water over it after cooking. Allow the grill to cool completely before handling the foil pan and any remaining charcoal.
